Ms. Kimmy Renesha Shanta ("Kimmy K") Goodson

Kimmy Renesha Shanta Goodson was born February 18, 1982 in St. Louis, Missouri to Stephanie A. Vincent and Charles Goodson. Kimmy was preceded in death by her dad, Charles Goodson; grandfather, Russell E. Vincent, Sr., sister, Synetta Goodson; brothers, Terrell Vincent, Russell E. Vincent, Stephon Vincent, and Jahi Hynes. 

Kimmy attended Saint Louis public schools and furthered her education at Sanford Brown Business College where she graduated with a focus in medical assistance. She attended and was baptized at Scruggs Memorial Church. 

Kimmy was known to her family as "Kimmy K." She would always say, "Cute in the face and thick in the waist." Kimmy was a family comedian in her own right. If you were sad, she would make you smile and laugh. 

Kimmy was a sweet, loving and caring person to be around. Upon her entrance all you would do is smile. Her family loved to see her coming. Kimmy was a devoted mother, sister, aunt and daughter. She loved and adored her children and enjoyed being a mom. 

Kimmy departed this life on Tuesday, July 6, 2021. She was loved by so many and will be sorely missed. Throughout her life Kimmy met many people from many different walks of life. Her loving personality allowed her to become friends with many of those people. 

She leaves to cherish her memories, her mother, Stephanie A. Vincent; grandmother, Claire J. Vincent, whom she loved dearly and played a big part in her life; daughters, Aneriona, Armani and Diamond; sons, Dwight, Cody, Carmelo; brothers, Ronald, Darrion, Arnold, Camry, Charles J., Charles Jr., Charles, Darris, De' Angelo, Keegan, Jeremiah and Keshaun; sisters, Marktina, Myia, Erica, Charnisa, Chanel, Kambria, Aunyae and Delilah; nieces, Avery, Americkal, Dream, Kaniya, Khalani, and Mia; nephews, Aiden, Asher, Joshua, Elijah and King; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
