Ms. Jessica Monique ("Rabbit") Morehouse

October 4, 1984 ~ February 26, 2021 (age 36)

Jessica Monique Morehouse, who was affectionately called "Rabbit," by family and friends, was born October 4, 1984 in St. Louis, Missouri to Troy Jody Morehouse and La Vonda (Williams) Morehouse. She was one of four children born to this union. Jessica transitioned from this life on Friday, February 26, 2021.

Jessica was baptized at an early age and attended church with her family at Shinning Light Pentecostal Church under the leadership of Pastor Bennie Thompson from 1988 - 1993. In 2005,

Jessica and her family joined, Faith Miracle Temple Church, under the presiding Bishop, Larry J. Baylor and Pastor, Dr. Marlon T. Baylor.

Jessica was educated in the St. Louis, Missouri, and Edwardsville, Illinois Public School Districts. She attended Ladue Horton Watkins High School from 1998 - 1999 and later transferred to Sumner High School from 1999 - 2002. She graduated from Sumner in May 2002. Jessica later attended Everest College where she received an Associate Degree in Accountancy in July of 2005.

Jessica met Raymond Joseph Brownlee, Sr., while in high school. She later married him in March of 2005 and from this union was born Raymond Joseph Brownlee, Jr.

Jessica had a gift for caring and talking with people. She was spontaneous in her actions towards others. She was sweet, spirited, humorous, gentle and at time's unapologetic and outspoken when necessary. She would not hold back any punches; she gave you the "hard truth" whether you wanted it or not ..... but that was Rabbit.

Jessica was a unique and outstanding woman, wife, mother, daughter, sister, niece, cousin, aunt, and friend. She was deeply loved by everyone and her selfless acts of kindness such as cooking, driving, counseling, or performing community service, were all done out of her love for us. We are all blessed to have known Rabbit.

Jessica love working with people and was a hard worker and always ensured she took care of home. Her first job in 2002 was working as a dental administrative assistance at a Health Care Clinic. She held various positions from sales associate, janitorial service, waitress, short order cook, and changed her profession to assist her sister as a home health care provider. Now that's "Unconditional Love".

Her untimely death was preceded by her grandfathers, Myron Jordan Williams and Freddie Lee Morehouse.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories to her spouse Raymond Joseph Brownlee, Sr.; son Raymond Joseph Brownlee Jr.; parents Troy Jody Morehouse and La Vonda Morehouse; three sisters La Keisha Devon Morehouse; Brittany Keanna Morehouse-Perkins (Aaron), and Brooke Annisa Wilson; a brother Joshua Ryan Morehouse; two nephews Isaiah Malika Morehouse and Aaron Perkins, two nieces Amara Lee Faye Perkins and Brazil Heaven Price; grandmothers Dorothy Williams and Bessie Will Morehouse; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
