DEBORAH ANN THOMAS was born February 1, 1955 to proud parents, Ernestine and Eurgetee Thomas. She was the second daughter and seventh child to join the Thomas Clan, but eventually she was joined by more siblings.
Deborah was born in St. Louis, MO and raised in E. St. Louis, IL. She attended Dunbar Elementary, Hughes-Quinn Junior High and Lincoln H.S. She was an excellent student with a kind spirit and a gentleness that permeated her soul and showed up in all her contacts whether personal or when conversing with strangers. She was quite a beauty.
She received an Associate Degree which led to her longest lasting job as an Administrative Supervisor at Blue Cross Blue Shield. She had quite a few jobs along the way but based on the accolades she received while with Blue Cross, it became obvious she enjoyed that job the most and felt appreciated because of her dedication.
Deb loved animals but was mostly fond of cats. Deb's heart belonged to her one and only son, Keith Lamar Thomas, who needs our prayers as he recuperates. Keith and his family Justin, Keith, Kayla and Keith's wife, Toshia, all meant the world to Deb. They brought her joy and she loved to love her grand babies.
Deb's significant other Curtis Finley who preceded her in death, was a part of her support system for over a decade. Deb was also preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas, and her brothers, Charles, Eugene, Burgie and Stephen.
Surviving siblings are Jerry (Von) Thomas, Gwendolyn Thomas, Christopher Thomas, Linda (Rudy) Cole, Eric (Lettra) Thomas, Jeffrey Thomas and Kimberly Thomas. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was such a Fashionista with a lot of Charm.
