Reflections of De De’s Time With Us
Daniesha Jaray “De De” Johnson was born in St. Louis, Missouri on February 8, 1994, to Saleena Johnson and Duron Cockrell. She was the first born of two children.
Daniesha received her education in St. Louis, Missouri, graduating from Oakville High School. Her journey led her to pursue an exceptional career as an Emergency Medical Technician, driven by her love for assisting anyone who came her way. With a genuine passion for caring for others, no one was a stranger to her. Even as a child, she would extend her hand to those in need, sometimes bringing them into her own home. Her talents extended beyond her medical career. From the tender age of four, she displayed her skills as a dancer, paving the way for a lifelong love of music, running track, skating, and reading.
Daniesha was a member of Circle of Light Church and was born again and baptized under the leadership of Reverend Jeff Johnson Jr., where she became one of the proudest members of the usher board and a faithful choir member.
Daniesha then met her childhood sweetheart, Keith Miles and on their journey they experienced the beauty of becoming parents. Yes, she was now a mother to the love of her life, her precious daughter, Keiorre S. Miles Johnson.
God called Daniesha home on March 18, 2024. She leaves to cherish her memories, a loving daughter, Keiorre Johnson; A Loving Mother, Saleena (Jerriishant) Johnson; her Father, Duron Cockrell; her one and only brother and best friend, Antwain Johnson; Grandmothers, Barbara Johnson and Junita Nelson; and a host of aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.
