Ms. Cherra Genice ("Cherra-G") Jones

CHERRA G. JONES was born in St. Louis, Missouri on April 9, 1964 to the union of James F. Jones and Esther I. (Boyd) Jones. She is preceded in death by her mother, Esther Jones and sister, Krista Stepney. 

Cherra confessed her life to Christ at an early age attending Greater Mount Carmel Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Earl E. Nance, Sr. 

Cherra attended St. Louis Public schools and started her career with the United States Post Office. 

Cherra had a beautiful smile that would light up a room. That same beautiful smile coupled with her signature laugh always made her the life of the party and those in attendance were in for a good time. 

She leaves to cherish her memories: her father, James F. Jones; one sister, Mignon Beatty; two nieces, Monet Strong (Cargin), Kristina Stepney; two nephews, Dwayne Stepney (Penelope) and Gerold Hopkins; five great nieces, one great nephew, three aunts, Genevieve Rottnek, Ernestine Isaiah, Bertha Follins Qames); three uncles, Louis Young (Dominga), Lebron Young and Nathaniel Young; and a host of friends and family.
