Ms. Atresha L. (Tresha) Johnson

Atresha L. Johnson passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at the age of 48 at Mercy Hospital. Atresha was born on April 13, 1974, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Clinton and Charlene Smith. Both parents preceded her in death.

Atresha graduated from Sumner High School in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1992. She dedicated her working years to the medical field with a heart of gold, helping displaced children and the elderly.

Atresha professed her life to Christ at an early age. She made her church home at Faith Miracle Temple where she served the Lord faithfully on several committees and always enjoyed helping others. She loved working in the church and cherished praising the Lord. Atresha loved to read her Bible and pray with and for others. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends, laughing and always wearing a smile on her face. She was a loving and caring person, a devoted mother, sister, and friend who was always thinking of others first. “To know her was to love her.”

Atresha leaves to cherish her loving memory: her son, Alexander Brown, Jr.; siblings, Paris (Jeffery), Felicia, Angela, Trahann, Gabriel, Deetra, Julius, and Jules; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
