ROSE MARIE was born on August 30, 1941 in St. Louis, Missouri to her beloved parents, the late Manuel Harvey and Flora Mae Stokes.
She confessed her belief in Jesus Christ at an early age and strived to live a life that was pleasing in His sight daily.
Rose was a devoted wife to her husband, Mr. Henry Ford, for more than 30 years.
Rose's life was that of an earnest servant. She was a member of the Calvary M.B Church for over 40 years. There, she served as a choir member in her early years, as well as deaconess until she shifted her membership to Rhema-Faith Ministries, International. At Rhema-Faith, she continued to use her talents and resources for the cause of Christ until her transition to her heavenly home.
Rose's beautiful soul has left an impactful trail of memories. She was the model mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend who always put her family first.
Rose was an artist and entrepreneur in her own right. She graced many weddings with her beautiful handcrafted decor, and was known for her alluring corsage. If you knew Rose, you know she was only a call away and was always supportive to any and every one.
Trusting in God's promises, she was called to exit this life on Wednesday, November 11, 2020. She was preceded in death by both her parents and brother, Kenneth Harvey.
Rose Marie leaves to cherish her memories: Husband, Henry Ford; her siblings, George Harvey (Pinkie,) Paula Harvey (Calvin,) and Victor Harvey. Carrying on her legacy are her four children, Alice Washington, Valerie Freeman Oanson) Brian Washington-Cretter (Linda) and Charlene Washington; along with a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and close friends. Rose will be missed by many.
