Mrs. Patience Agbigbe-Dodolewa Obituary

Born Patience Odiri Agbigbe in Lagos, Nigeria, on August 26, 1968, Patience was born to the union of Margaret Edoghoro Agbigbe of Ugbomoja Water side, Jesse Ethiope West LGA Delta State Nigeria and William Adidi Agbigbe of Ovwomougbo, Jesse Ethiope West LGA Delta State Nigeria. 

Affectionately called Odiri, she attended Secondary school at Chude Girls Grammar school, Sapele Delta state Nigeria. Upon graduation she gave birth to her son Jeffrey Otivere Akougbo. 
Odiri moved to the United States in 1990 to further her studies and become closer with family. She continued her education at Florissant Valley Community College focusing her studies in the healthcare field. While studying her body was attacked by cancer. She was determined to survive and live despite the doctor’s diagnosis. She took her skills from school and did what made her happy, nurturing and taking care of people. 

While working hard she met the second love of her life Adebeyo Dodolewa. In 2005 they traveled to Nigeria to join themselves in holy matrimony. holy matrimony. 

While in America, she became a member of the Urhobo Progress Union now known as Urhobo Cultural Association as well as the Redeemed Christian Church Of God in North America. As a member of Urhobo Cultural Association, she became known for her Pepper Soup and her overall good cooking! 

On December 26, 2020, Odiri answered a call from God and ascended to her heavenly home. She went to join her beloved brothers, Ogheneovo Agbigbe and Onoriode Agbigbe and her Uncle Sampson Agbigbe in the arms of God. She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved husband, Adebayo Dodolewa and also her beloved parents. Odiri also has left two children Jeffrey Okougbo (Virginia) and Adenike Dodolewa. She also leaves to cherish her memory 3 sweet grandchildren: Izoduwa J. Okougbo, Itohan E. Okougbo, and Adekunle K. Dodolewa , as well as siblings: Omatie Agbigbe, William Agbigbe, Jr., Gordon Agbigbe, Ovie Agbigbe, and Ivie Agbigbe.
