Mrs. Crystal Lynn Strong-Eddins

PREMIERE:

Crystal Lynn Strong was born on August 27, 1958 in St. Louis, MO to the parents of Payton Strong and Opril Strong-Hill, both preceeded her in death. Crystal accepted Christ at a young age at Kennerly Temple COGIC under the leadership of Pastor R. J. Ward and was a faithful member of LIVE Church under her Son-in-Law, Pastor Shadrach Martin, until she was called home. Crystal was educated in the St. Louis Public School System and was a proud Northwest High School Alumni. She made sure that you knew that Northwest was her Alma Mater.

When Crystal gave birth to her real life babydoll, Tiffani her heart was full. Tiffani was not just her daughter, but her secret keeper, her dinner and vacation buddy, and mostly HER BEST FRIEND. She would tell anyone who would listen how proud she was of her daughter.

Crystal was Jazzy, a fashionista, a stylish and loved everything GLAM, so a career in cosmetology was inevitable. Crystal enjoyed everything about making other women feel beautiful while in her chair. If you knew Crystal...it was always "Tea Time" as she loved talking about the latest news.

Crystal married the love of her life John Eddins on September 2, 1999. She loved and cared for him and later became his caretaker when he became ill. She was right there by his side until he passed on June 14, 2017.

Crystal enjoyed life, she loved dancing, music and her favorite past time was SHOPPING. Spending time with her family and friends as well as interior design are what made her happiest. Crystal's love for her daughter and grandchildren is what made her days fulfilled. There was an open door policy at her home for Crystal's nieces and nephews who too were like her own children.
