Mrs. Annie Bell Miller

On Monday, October 12, 2020, ANNIE BELL CUMMINGS MILLER of Waterford, MS entered into rest at the age of 89. She was born on February 21, 1931 to the late Robert and Betty Cummings of Waterford, MS and raised by her loving grandparents, Benjamin and Annie Walker. 

Annie accepted the Lord at an early age and joined Hamilton Chapel CME Church. She received her primary education in the Mississippi Industrial School System. She was employed for over twenty years at the University of Mississippi as a Cook until retirement. She married Ezekiel Miller, Jr., and lived a happy life until his death. 

The joy of Annie's life came in loving and doting on her children, Betty, Bernard, Alvin ( deceased), Keith, and Carolyn. In 2004, Annie moved to St. Louis, where she spent her senior years surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She daily sat in her recliner, knowing everyone's schedules and keeping everyone on track for what they had to accomplish each day. We jokingly called it "turning the world from her easy chair." 

After moving to St. Louis, she joined First Baptist Church of Kinloch, where she met and gained many dear friends. Her passions were putting together 1000-piece jigsaw puzzles, reading her bible, watching Christian TV, talking to all of her friends and family from home, and her weekly 'Pitty Pat' card game with her son Keith. 

She leaves to cherish her memories her daughters, Betty and Carolyn; sons, Bernard (Audrey) and Keith (Loretta); her grandchildren, Kenny, Bernard, Jr., Jasmine, Heather, Ashley, Gabrielle, and great grandsons, Aaron and Ramel; cousins, relatives, and friends.
