ALICE FAYE GREEN was born March 7, 1946, in Queen City, Texas to James and Bathelia Holt, who both preceded her in death.
Alice professed her faith in Christ at an early age. She graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in 1964.
On July 30, 1970, Alice was united in Holy Matrimony with Henri Contejean Green, who also preceded her in death. From this union, came one son and one daughter.
Alice was a military wife for over 27 years and was able to travel and explore different parts of the world. She was a devout Christian and loved attending church revivals and servicing the needs of others. Alice was a prayer warrior and always believed the best of any given situation.
She always took advantage of every opportunity and eventually returned to school and in 1994 she completed her bachelor's degree in Business Administration. She went to work for the Department of Agriculture as an Ethics Advisor until her retirement.
On Friday, July 30, 2021, Alice departed this life and was received into the arms of Jesus. Surviving family members who will forever cherish her memory are her son, Bryan Green; daughter, Kelli Rogers; five grandchildren, DeVante Green, Darien Green, Dejour Green,. Brianna Green and Karenna Rogers; one great-grandchild, Alani Green; son-in-law, Gary Rogers; daughter-in-law, Kethra Green; two surviving sisters, Mildred Peoples and Louise Hicks; and a host of step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
