Reflections of a Life Well-Lived

William Russell Arms was born February 21, 1957 to the union of Geraldine and Russell Arms Sr.  Affectionately referred to as “Billy” or “Big Bill,”  he was always the fun and loving jokester of the family: Whether playfully calling his sisters “Rochelle” or poking fun at all his “little dirty babies,” as he called us.

Billy always made every moment in his presence memorable. Billy graduated from Northwest High in the ‘70’s. He found employment at Lincoln Pentair before a life-altering car crash ended his contribution to the workforce. Although the accident that Billy endured, led to a long road of recovery, Billy never lost his whimsical outlook on life. 

Billy departed this life on August 11, 2022, at 6:08 am joining his family who preceded him in death; his parents Geraldine and Russell Arms Sr., brother Kerry Martine “Dido” Arms, brother Ronald Scott Arms, sister Dolla Kay “Kay-Kay” Arms, and sister Angela Michelle “Angie” Arms. 

Billy is survived by siblings; Holly Joy Arms-Morris (Recardo), Russell Thomas Arms Jr., Donnell Thomas Arms (Bridgette) and Charles Wesley Arms (Zaneda).   Billy leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews; Toy Vonchelle Arms, Jade Marie Arms, Andre Lee Arms, Recardo Morris III, Terell Martice Ross, Denetris Ronnise Arms, Asia Tamyra Brown, Amber Tyesha Hubbard, Teair LaChae Arms, LaRon Thomas Arms, Matthew Phillip Arms, Tiffany Nicole Scott, Briah Deleece Arms, Tyler Jamil Arms, and Aniah Illiece Arms.

Billy will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
