A Time to Be Born:
Mr. Thomas Edward Tisdale was born July 22, 1947, in Whiteville, Tennessee, to Valaria Tisdale and the late Larndell Tisdale. Thomas was preceded in death by his father.
A Time to Build up:
Thomas Edward Tisdale graduated from Bolivar Industrial High School in May 1967. After graduation, he received an academic scholarship to attend Tennessee State University in Nashville, Tennessee, where he completed two years, majoring in Business Administration. Thomas relocated to St. Louis, Missouri, where he accepted a full-time TIG welding position at Indotherm Corporation. In June 1986, Thomas began his career with Monsanto in Maryland Heights, Missouri. During his 16 years at Monsanto/Silgan Plastics, he received numerous awards for outstanding performance, such as safety attendance and for completing a forklift certification program. Thomas decided to retire from Monsanto/Silgan Plastics in 2002. Once retired, he enjoyed watching his beloved Cardinals and favorite western shows.
A Time to Worship:
Thomas accepted Christ at an early age and joined Simon Chapel Church and remained a faithful member.
A Time for Love:
Thomas met the lady of his dreams, Delores Smith, and fell in love, and they exchanged their marital vows on March 13, 1970. They shared many precious memories together, and in their union, they were blessed with one daughter, Christy Lanise Tisdale.
A Time to Weep and a Time to Mourn:
Thomas Edward Tisdale departed this life on Monday, April 19, 2021, at 6:37 p.m., in the privacy of his home in St. Louis, Missouri. He leaves to mourn: his only daughter, Christy Lanise Munson, granddaughter, Payge Brandell Massenberg, grandson, Princeton Ormoni Liggins, and a great-grandson, Princeton Otha Ormoni Liggins (4 mos. old). He also leaves to mourn: two brothers, Jimmy Tisdale of Bolivar, TN, and Lonnie Tisdale (Kaye) of St. Louis, MO; three beautiful sisters, Shirley Spinks (James) and Loretta Herod (Keith), both of St. Louis, MO, and Brenda Watts (Michael) of Nashville, TN; a special niece, Lisa Ann Smith, and a special cousin, Louis Tisdale (Annette), both of St. Louis, MO; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
