Tariq LaVan Redden was born on May 5, 2002, to Tyrone and Tiffany Redden. His grandfather, Correnthia Redden, and grandmother, Gloria Brown, preceded him in death.
He was dedicated back to God (Allah) at an early age. He was a member of both Old Landmark Temple C.O.G.I.C. and Mosque #28. He simply loved the “shouting music.” He would often say, “That shouting music gets me going!” In addition, he believed in the power of prayer and would often ask his mother to pray for and with him.
As a child, Tariq played baseball and trained in MMA (Mixed Martial Arts). As a teen, he was a certified lifeguard and successfully graduated from high school in May of 2020. He was known as a “sharp” dresser, a rapper, and a comedian in his own right. He loved fast cars, and he loved to eat! He was well-loved by his dog, Ali.
On Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at approximately 11:50 PM, God called Tariq home to eternal rest.
He is survived by: his beloved father, Tyrone; mother, Tiffany; brother, Tahj; sister, Jamira (Atlanta, GA); grandfather, David Brown; grandmother, Deborah Redden; and host of uncles,
aunts, cousins, and friends.
