Ryan Markel Hughes was born on November 11, 1979, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Sheila Hughes-Bell and Ray Lambert. Ryan was baptized under the leadership of Reverend Murphy Turner. His grandmother, Ann Hughes, uncle, Daryl, and brother, Jaron Blocker, preceded him in death.
Ryan attended Hazelwood School District and graduated from North County Technical School. He later received his HVAC certification and Culinary degree. He was employed at Gingham Restaurant in St. Charles, Missouri.
Ryan, also known as BobbyJo, was a quiet and humble person. He loved his family and was happiest when hanging out with his cousins. He also loved to sing, go fishing, camp, and chill out with his dog, Storm. He was infamous for being the greatest narrator of the Left Right Game at family Christmas gatherings.
Ryan loved spending time with his children, Jada, Benjamin, and Piper, and his niece and nephews, Amore, Mi’Asia, and Royal.
Ryan leaves to cherish his memory: the greatest mom, Sheila Bell; stepfather, Curtis Bell; father, Ray Lambert; three amazing children, Jada Hughes, Benjamin Hughes, and Piper Hughes; siblings, Ronda Truelove (Darryl), Ray Lambert, Jr., Sherry Daggs (Stephon), Ray Lambert, Jr. (Annie), Rachel Lambert, Reasha Lambert, and Leland Alexander; aunts, Lanora Robinson (Edward Jr.), Jeannie Hughes, and Rita Hughes; uncle, Billy Goodson; a host of loving cousins, nieces, and nephews; and dear friend, Sherri Virdure.
