Mr. Quentin Robinson Obituary

It was a cold winter night on January 21, 1993 at 9:37 pm, when a miracle was born. QUENTIN TYLER ROBINSON aka "Q" was the bundle of joy born to Tyrone Eugene Robinson and Patricia Ann Robinson. The Robinsons were such proud parents of their 6 lbs and 12 oz son.

Quentin was born in St. Louis, MO and moved to Kansas City, MO as a baby. Quentin returned to St. Louis at the age of 6, where he continued his education at St. Louis Charles Schools, Gateway High School and McCluer High school. He was a student at Forest Park Community College studying Architectural Drafting Design.

Quentin's passion was sports and gaming. He was a faithful worker for Kohl's Department Store and Private Duty Caregiver.

Quentin adored his family and you would often find him taking care of his dear mother or spending time with his father-who lives in Kansas. He met his life partner, Tanita Coleman in 2012 and they were inseparable until his death ... Quentin and Tanita would spend countless hours with their Godchildren.

Quentin came from a strong praying family. He was baptized in 2014 at New Beginnings Missionary Baptist Church. He was a loving teddy bear that had no enemies. His smile would illuminate the room.

His passion was sports (football and basketball),Jordan's and sports hats. You better not talk about his teams. He would be the only one in the family room rooting for his team. Win or lose, you couldn't change Quentin's mind.

On Monday, July 13, 2020 "Q" found a flight that was heaven bound; he had purchased his ticket well in advance. Sorry, I did not have time to say good-bye but I am looking forward to meeting my family and friends in the sky.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving mother, Patricia Ann Robinson, dedicated father, Tyrone Eugene Robinson; two brothers, Tyrone Skinner (Monica) of Portland, Maine, and Antonio Geno Ford, Maryland DC; grandparents, Richard and Saundra Matthews; a loving girlfriend, Tanita Coleman; three loving Godchildren, Ma'Kiya, Mykayla and J amiya; and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.
