OMAR SHERRAH BURNS was born July 28, 1980 in Saint Louis County to the union of Anthony 1. Burns and Dorothea C. Burns. He was the third child of three children. He was preceded in death by his father, his grandmother, Ernestine Harris and aunt, Michelle Harris.
Omar gave his life to Christ at the early age of seven and was baptized at Devotional Missionary Baptist church under the leadership of Reverend Earbie Bledsoe.
Omar played the Saxophone and Violin as a kid. He earned a brown belt in Karate and won several trophies. Omar was a writer and loved to sing. He loved sports, especially football. He loved to cook, BBQ and when he had company, The Great Debate was on! (101) He never met a stranger.
He was joined in Holy Matrimony with the love of his life, Quiana L Jefferson on the once in a lifetime date - 12-12-12 (December 12, 2012). To this union a blended family of eight were united.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Quiana; his children, Alexis, Daisha, Atavia, Anton, Keyarra, and Ayden; mother, Dorothea; brother, Davette; sister, Haniny (Alvin); mother-in-law, Anna Evans; father-in-law, Melvin Evans; several aunts, uncles and a host of sisters-in-law, brothers-inlaw, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
