OBBIE LEE SHAW, III was born on February 5, 1994 in St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Joyce Shaw and Obbie Shaw, Jr. He was the only son, "Baby Boy," of four children.
Although he didn't have a church home, he believed in God.
Obbie attended the Hazelwood School district and later received his post-secondary education in the Ritenour School district.
Obbie enjoyed spending quality time with his family and close friends. He had a very special bond with his sisters and a special kind of love for his parents. He enjoyed playing pool, throwing darts, dancing, listening to music, and writing lyrics. He loved to relax and meditate. He was loving, caring and full of life.
Obbie worked in the food and hospitality industry. He was fortunate enough to have a God Mother, Suzette McNeal and God Sisters, Chelsea Gaskin and Ramya Givens.
Obbie was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Freddie Strickland and Willie Buckley and paternal grandparents, Bessie Keeper and Obbie Lee Shaw, Sr.; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory to his parents, Joyce and Obbie Shaw, Jr.; three sisters, Wakita Shaw, Rolanda Shaw, and Charnese (Michael) Finster; nieces, MeKaylah Shaw and Mizhani Finster; nephew, Khalil Finster; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
