Mr. Larry J. ("Doc") Johnson

Mr. Larry J. Johnson was born August 27, 1952, in Holly Grove, AR, to the union of Irunoes (Pat) and Bertha Lee Johnson. He received his education in the Holly Grove School District. Larry relocated to St. Louis, after graduation in 1970. He confessed his faith in Christ at an early age. He was called home by our Heavenly Father on Friday, April 2, 2021. 

Larry worked for Washington University, where he retired after 49 years of service. He met the love of his life, Jeraldine Johnson and was married 23 years with one child born (Corey Johnson), who preceded him in death. His daughter, Sharon Johnson, mother, Bertha Lee Johnson, two sisters, Lorene Earl and Ruby Johnson, grandparents, Austin and Cora Johnson, and Robert and Lillie Wilson, also preceded him in death. 

He leaves to cherish his memory: his father, Irunoes Johnson, Sr.; a loving wife, Jeraldine Johnson; one son, Aaron Johnson of Alexandria, VA; nine sisters, Ressie (Lee) Thibodeaus of Akron, OH, Sandra (David) Lee of Roe, AR, MaryAnn (Donald) Foster, Doris Austin, and Debra (Lonnie) Burton, all of Stuttgart, AR, Barbara (Herbert) of Little Rock, AR, Riconda (Ricky) Johnson of Maumelle, AR, Virlene (Curtis) Moore of Chicago, IL, and Lindora (Morris) Dixson of Manifield, TX; three brothers, Rickey Johnson of Holly Grove, AR, Robert T. Johnson of Benton, AR, and Irunoes (Lawanda) Johnson, Jr., of Pine Bluff, AR; and a host of aunties, uncles, nieces and nephews.
