Mr. Juan Demetrius Warren was born on Saturday,November 9, 1974, to Lynne and Oscar Warren. Juan accepted Christ at an early age. He attended several elementary schools, including St. Philips, Ashland, and finally, Turner Middle, where he completed his earlier studies. Juan then went on to attend Sumner High School where he graduated and received his Diploma in 1994.
Juan loved to be outside, where he would play basketball until night fell at Tandy’s Center. In his earlier years, he played basketball for Rockhill Church. He moved to Jefferson City, Missouri, 18 years ago and made many new friends along the way. Juan worked in manufacturing until his untimely death on Saturday, April 10, 2021.
Juan was preceded in death by his father, Oscar Warren; three great-grandparents; three grandparents, Kenneth Whiteside, Pinkie and Roosevelt Warren; and one aunt, Latone Whiteside.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory: his son, Tyre Warren; daughter, Leah Warren; mother, Lynne; grandmother, Yvonne Whiteside; five sisters, TaTasha, Tiaunna, Linda, Patricia, and Joanne; one brother, Terrell Warren; niece, Skyla Lane; his honorary brothers, Aaron, Caleb, Dennis, Eddie, James, Michael, Seandale, Smiley, Tannie, and Terry; as well a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, and friends who loved him and will miss him dearly.
Juan was called home to be with those who already received their wings. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. As a mother, my prayers are for his family of angels to open their wings and give my son hugs and kisses each day that I cannot and’ fly around heaven all day until I can see you again. I will always remember your laughter, your smile, and your kind heart. Goodnight, for now.
