Mr. John Willie (“Redd”) Young III

 JOHN "REDD" YOUNG, III was born on April 28, 1978 in St. Louis, Missouri to Debra Boyd and John Willie Young.Jr. 

John "Redd" attended St. Louis Public Schools. He was employed with Union Pacific Railroads. 

Redd turned his life over to Christ at an early age. He was baptized at Friendly Temple and had several church homes throughout his life. 
His accomplishments included marrying Grace Young on July 31, 2011, being a loving husband, uncle, brother, son, cousin, and friend to many. Redd was the life of the party and he enjoyed making people laugh. He also loved fashion and jewelry. Redd enjoyed singing and dancing. Whitney Houston was his favorite singing artist.

John "Redd" Young is preceded in death by both grandmothers, Mary Boyd, Ida Mae; granddad,John Willie Young, Sr.; aunts, Tracey Young (Detroit), Shanta Pain (New York), Uncle Billy Boyd (Olivia), and niece, Ebony Boyd. 

He leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Grace Young; mom, Debra Boyd; dad, John Willie Young Jr.; siblings, Mary Boyd, Angda Young, Shemeeka (Lawrence) Spinks, Shanelle Young, Amber Young, Marvin Boyd, Darnell Boyd, Gemayd Shepard, Jeremy Young, Valerian Johnson, Alex Myers; aunts, Neoma Young-Plant (Ed) (Detroit); uncles, Kevin Young (Detroit), Floyd McBride (Detroit), Jerry Pain (New York); Special cousins that have always been there for him, Jarvis Nunley, Kashita Webb, Karen Boyd, Diane Nyvell, Gerald Rowland, Autumn Boyd, Kia and Kevin King, Rodney, Amir, Jayla (St. Louis), Claudia, Emma, and Josephina Tanksley, Tonya, Kelly (St. Louis); best friends, Chenis Buckner, Tracee Bush, Stacii Costello, Nicole McMorris, Shanta and Sheneka Gregory. Favorite nieces Brittany, Brianna, Dernyra Boyd, Lannek Spinks, Kamayah Shepard, Shankia, Zyra, Arrid and Kamayah Young; great nieces, Heaven Boyd, Egypt Boyd, Payton, Ky'lee, Cai'lee Boyd, Anubia, A'Nariiah, Kyrell Cherry and Naomi. Special Nephews Marshall (Nicole) Boyd, Christopher Boyd, Corey Hardy, Keshaun Spinks, Ethan McKinney; great nephew, Zyrell Cherry, Kay'ion Harrell, Khalil Jefferson, Kaiden, Caleb Boyd; many more cousins, great aunts, and a host of friends too many to name them all, and he loved everyone.
