Mr. Jarred Hayes Obituary

Life Reflections

Jarred O'Lemuel Hayes was born in St. Louis, MO to Janice Hayes-Sharp and Clifton Wilkes on December 10, 1990. He was the third child of her four children and was raised in Berkeley, MO amongst his siblings. His sister Jasmine Raquel Hayes-Parker left a void in his heart when she preceded him in death.

He attended the Ferguson-Florissant District, then at a young age picked up a trade and learned the skills of a plumber from Clarkie Smith, his daddy and the man he knew, loved, and trusted. Jarred completed his internship, then became a full-time skilled plumber where he worked for Gooden Plumbing for nearly 20 years. More often than not, you could count on him rocking one of his "Plumbers Do It Better" work shirts and a big smile.

In his early twenties, he made the decision to dedicate his life to Christ. Jared was a man who prayed often because he believed in and loved the Lord.

To know Jarred was to truly love him. He had a great sense of humor, an outgoing spirit and a genuine love and appreciation for all people. He was a dedicated and providing father and family man. He kept Jacorrion and Jae`Marie near him at all times. He loved all children, but there was a special place in his heart for his bonus children Robert, Raylen, and Makenzi. He was a man who cherished every person he met and welcomed them with acceptance and love.  Let his loss be a lesson to us that we must make the most out of each moment and cherish every single memory with the people whom God places in our lives.

In addition to his sister, Jasmine R. Hayes-Parker, Jarred was also preceded in death by his grandfather, O’Lemuel Hayes; uncle, Roosevelt Jordan; and aunt, Hester Fowler.

He leaves to cherish precious memories with his loving mother Janice (William) Hayes-Sharp; his father, Clifon Wilkes; his Daddy, Clarkie Smith; children, Jacorrion Harris, Makayla and Mychael Hill, and Jae`Marie Hayes; sisters, Clarke Janaee` Hayes, Sherise Reynolds, and Mary Wilkes; his brothers, Paul Lajuan Keys and Clifton Bardo; his twin, Gabrielle Jordan; grandmother, Lucille Hayes; aunts, Clara Jordan, Shirley Rhodes, Ernestine Hernton, Mary Jordan, Gloria Gooden, Diane Smith, Belinda Bond, and Patricia Smith; his uncles, Willie Jordan, Phillip Smith, Clifford Smith, and Ronald Smith; his godmothers, Cheryl Campbell and Felecia Williams; his god-sister, Alexis Campbell; godbrother Jeremiah Hamlin; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close family and friends who loved him very dearly.
