LAMONT was born in St. Louis, Missouri on January 15, 1973 to Harry Lee Polk Jr. who preceded him in death, and Effie Lee Polk. He was the eldest of two.
He attended St. Louis Public Schools but graduated from Holman Middle and Pattonville High Schools in Maryland Heights, Missouri. He attended Florissant Valley Community College for a brief moment, in one door and out the other. 'just not my thing mom," he said.
He met and married Danelle Williams, and to their union two children were born.
Lamont was a gentle soul, a big lovable teddy bear, loved by many and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of being a family member or friend.
He leaves to cherish his memories, daughter, Daijah M. Polk; son, Camren L Polk; mother, Effie L Polk; granddaughters, Londyn Brown and Hailey Simms; grandson, Demaggio Harold, Jr.; sister, Tujuanna L Polk; grandmother, Ella M. Robertson; niece, Amber Edwards; aunt, Mable Ashford; uncle, OB Ashford; two cousins, Shamika Manning (Kenneth) and Latoya Davis (Karvel); a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; special cousins of Una, Mississippi "The Robinson Boys" and sister, John, Lisa, Stacy, Gregory, Kevin; and Aunt Lois Pulliam who he called his other mother; friend, James A. Brown; special friend and buddy, Rahman Caldwell.
