Mr. Gerimi Varnell ("Mac-Daddy") Partee

Reflections of Gerimi’s Journey

Gerimi Varnell Partee was born December 16, 1991, in St. Louis MO to  Tiffany Partee. He departed this life on August 31, 2023, in Houston TX surrounded by the love of family. 

Gerimi attended Ferguson-Florissant School District schools and graduated from Northview High School in 2010. 

It definitely takes a village to raise a child; and Gerimi’s village was solid. Tiffany was a dedicated mother who fought tirelessly until the end for his healthcare. She delighted in providing him with the very best of everything. At age eight, Anthony Davis assumed the responsibility of Dad.  He and Gerimi developed a meaningful bond. His grandparents, Varnell and Mary Ann Partee loved him immensely.  Together they built a foundation that will last an eternity; he will always be their baby. 

Gerimi had a bashful smile that would lighten the room. He had a great passion for music, movies, and electronics! He was always taking us to church with the music of Marvin Sapp or Yolanda Adams or making us fall in love listening to R&B ballets. When he wasn’t listening to music, he was watching one of his favorite movies. Gerimi left such an impression on the lives of all who knew and loved him. He will be missed by his entire family. 

Gerimi Varnell Partee is preceded in death by his Grandfather, Varnell Partee Sr., and Cousins, Sidni Partee and Abbrielle Johnson.  

He leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Tiffany Partee; dad, Anthony Davis; grandmother, Mary Ann Partee; Aunts, Bridgette (Curtis) Hughes, Paris (Marion) Brooks, Lisa Partee, Sharlonda (Larry) Davis, and Sharron Caldwell; uncle, Varnell Partee Jr; and a host of cousins, family & friends.
