Obituary

DON JUAN WILLlAMS was born the first of three children on November 26, 1960 in Saint Louis, Missouri to the union of George and Rosie Lee Williams. Don was preceded in death by his father, George Washington Williams (1939- 1992), and sister, Felicia Modine Williams (1964-1998).

Don received his formal education in the St. Louis Public School System and graduated High School in 1977. Don continued his education by earning his Associate Degree in Business Administration.

Don accepted the Lord Jesus Christ at a young age at Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Baldwin, where he served with his parents and family members. Don sang in the youth choir, and as time progressed, he played the piano for the youth choir.

Don was united in Holy Matrimony to Mady Terry Andrews. No children were born to this union.

Don was employed with United Healthcare for many years until he became ill with cancer and had to be placed on leave of absence.

Don departed this life on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Barnes Jewish Hospital, with his family by his side. Don fought the good fight of faith.

Don leaves to cherish his memories: his devoted partner; Virginia Brown; loving mother, Rosie L Benzie; daughter, Dawn Williams (Priscilla); sister, Juaniata Johnson (Ronnie Johnson), sisters: Detra and Vinita Benzie, brothers: Eric, and Maurice Benzie; three aunts, Sammie L Willis, Maureen White, and Karen Bazzle; one uncle, Opie Pork (Rose Pork); and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, extended family, and special friends.
