Mr. Benito Cooper Obituary

Mr. Benito Cooper was born on October 16, 1949, in St. Louis, MO to Mr. and Mrs. Benzack and Catherine (Harper) Cooper. Benito was the first of five children.

Benito attended O'Fallon Technical High School and Beaumont High School. He graduated June 13, 1969.

Benito worked for General Motors Corporation during his senior year of high school. After graduation he became a full-time employee at GMC. During his 30+ years with GMC, he obtained multiple certifications and served as a robotics trainer.

Benito married Lenoria Tunstall on April 21, 1978. They were blessed with two children, Damon Augustine and Nakiesha Cooper.

Benito was full of life and had a passion for cars, science fiction and conversations. He never met a stranger as he considered them friends he hadn't met yet. He could always put a smile on your face from the great stories he told.

Benito was preceded in death by his father, Benzack Cooper; his niece, Natalia Cooper; and his great nephew, Kamden Washington.

Benito leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Catherine Cooper; his sisters, Carlettia Cooper and Beverly Wilson; his brothers, Bruce Cooper and Benzack (Mary) Cooper; his son, Damon (Raenell) Augustine; daughter, Nakiesha Cooper; three grandchildren, TaShauna, Kenedi and Kailah Augustine; one aunt and uncle, twenty-one nieces and nephews, and a host of cousins and friends.
