Mr. Antoine Jamil ("Twon") Johnson, Sr.

January 19, 1989 ~ February 25, 2021 (age 32)

Obituary

ANTOINE JAMIL JOHNSON, SR., was born in St. Louis, MO on January 19, 1989 to Robert and Dalberta Johnson. He attended Lowell Elementary and Beaumont High School which both were within the St. Louis Public School system.

Twon was employed at Republic Services as an assembly worker.

Twon was very family oriented and was devoted to helping anyone he came in contact with. Helping others was a skill he mastered during his lifetime.

Twon had a big passion with working on cars and drawing. He was a wonderful father to two precious children in his union with his wife, Kenlencia Johnson aka "Lu". The unconditional amount of love he provided to his kids was phenomenal. Ariyanna aka "Bug" and Antoine Jr., aka "Jr. Man" were his pride and joy. Playing Uno, building forts, late night karaoke sessions, sharing chocolate turtles, playing the game, and doing Tik Toks were just a few interests he enjoyed with his family and in his free time.

For many that didn't know, Twon was a twin to Antonio Johnson who preceded him in death. Twon was proud to be a twin and made sure that anything he did after Tony passed, he also acknowledged him. Any accomplishment he had in life, he would say on occasions "Tony I know you watching" or "Let's get this money Bro". Their bond was unexplainable. Twon' s bright smile and nice changing eye color will be honestly missed.

Left with cherished memories is the love of his life "Lu" and his first love, Dalberta Johnson; two wonderful children, Ariyanna and Antoine Jr.; beautiful and handsome siblings, Annie, Lynn, Laura, Zabrina, Ducky, Jeaneen, Daryl, Val, Arlene, and Lee; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, inlaws, and childhood friends. In addition to his twin brother, Twon was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Johnson; and his sister, Tranico Johnson aka Taz.
