Isaac was born in Shelby, Mississippi, on May 1, 1955, to Lucille (Brown) and Will Davis, Sr. He was one of 12. His parents, five brothers, and three sisters preceded him in death.
Isaac was employed with Hussmann Corporation, where they made commercial refrigeration for grocery stores and others in the food retail industry. Isaac was a very quiet man with a smile.
He loved singing in the church choir. Isaac read his Bible daily; he had about 20 of them. Isaac went to New Jersey, where he found his passion for bowling. He loved it so much, he came home and purchased a bowling ball and shoes. He always greeted you with a smile and loved his great-grandchildren.
He leaves to mourn his passing and cherish his memory: a loving wife, Julia Davis, two stepdaughters, Marie (Allen) Goodwin of Swansea, IL, and Shakela (Charles) Gray of St. Louis, MO; two sisters, Lorine Wood and Mary Smith; one brother, Rufus L. Davis; nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
“So, when tomorrow starts without me,
don’t think we’re far apart,
for every time you think of me,
I’m right here in your heart.”
