Jobe Anderson ("Ricky") Washington III

Mr. Jobe Anderson "Ricky" Washington III, was born on December 31, 1952, in St. Louis, MO to Jobe Anderson Washington, Il and Dorothy Marie Newbern Washington. Jobe was the fourth child of seven children. He was affectionately known by family and friends as "Ricky".
 

Jobe attended Sumner High School and it was during high school that he met his wife of 46 years, Beverly Ann Washington. He began walking her home from school when she was just a freshman in high school. They later married on July 3, 1976, continuing their love for over 50 years.
 

Jobe loved to spend time with his family. He loved to watch movies and play video games. He loved to sing and be with his kids. Jobe loved martial arts and martial art movies. He was a family protector and a problem solver.
 

Jobe is preceded in death by his parents, Jobe Anderson Washington, Il and Dorothy Marie Newbern Washington, his sister Gloria Jean Edwards, his brother William Lawrence Coleman Washington, his aunt Willie Belle "Bea" Jones, and his very special cousin Sharon Brinson Morris.
 

Jobe leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Beverly Ann Washington; his seven children, Ricky (Sandra) Warren, Raena (Maurice) Chavers, Rachel (Robert) Smith, Rochelle Washington, Ra'Geen Washington, Jobe Augustus Washington, and Rebeka Washington. He leaves several grandchildren, Dominic Warren, Ratrayl Harris, Miles Chavers, Laron Bonner Jr., Latrell Bonner, Jalen Smith, Jaleah Smith, Christian McIntyre, Carter Bond, and Kairi Arnold. He also leaves several siblings, Dorothy (Jerry) Hornaday, Laquita Elaine McCollum, Barbara (Tony) George, and Mike Washington; as well as special cousins Eric Jones and Mark Hayes plus many cousins, nieces and nephews.
