GERALD LEE BLANCHARD was born on August 27, 1973 to Barbara Lyles and Ronald Blanchard in St. Louis, MO. He attended Walbridge for primary school, Northwest Middle, and Northwest High School. He accepted Christ at an early age.
He gained employment at General Motors in 2015 as a Tearn Lead. He also had side jobs as a mechanic and doing construction. Gerald was a proud Cardinals fan and in his spare time he enjoyed cooking and doing standup comedy at local clubs. He also enjoyed listening to music and his favorite quote was "The Man Right Chea" by Mystical. He was adventurous and enjoyed traveling to many destinations.
Gerald departed his earthly life and transitioned into his life with Christ on Sunday, December 1, 2019. Gerald was preceded in death by his sister, Jennifer Knight; grandmother, Lillian Gilliam; and grandfather, John Lyles.
He leaves to carry on his legacy, his three children, Justice Blanchard, Jasmine Blanchard, J ace Blanchard; stepson, Jeffery Cooper; mother, Barbara Lyles and father, Ronald Blanchard; seven siblings, Regina (Walker) Blanchard, Elonda Blanchard, Reginald (Carmen) Blanchard, Dorothy (Tracy) Booker, Fontella Bradford, Monica Scott, Clorinda (Ivory) Bailey; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
