Cortez Yul ("Corleone") Pate-Chapman

CORTEZ YUL CHAPMAN, also known as CORTEZ YUL PATE-CHAPMAN, was born January 16, 2001 to the union of Elise Pate and Jerome Chapman Sr., in St. Louis, Missouri. Cortez was educated in the St. Louis Public Schools and attended Normandy High School. 

When you reflect on the life of Cortez, you'll know that he always kept a Big Smile on his face, no matter what the situation. If he saw you sad or down, he would try to make you smile by doing silly things until he had you smiling and laughing. He definitely was born a child that was full of grace! 

He was nicknamed Coreleone and he loved to play, dance, sing, and write "RAP Music." Rapping was his thing ... lol. He loved his family and was always there to show love and support for them. He touched the hearts of many family and friends as he traveled this life journey. 

Cortez was the nicest person you'll ever want to meet; he would even give you the shirt off his back. Cortez was "TOO REAL''! He will never be forgotten ... He will be greatly missed . . . His memories will live on ... 

Cortez leaves behind to cherish memories, his mother, Elise Pate (Arthur); father, Jerome Chapman Sr. (Diane); four brothers, Armando King, Autone Pate, Dalrans Pate, Jerome Chapman Jr.; grandfather, Maurice Phipps; special aunts, Samantha Pate, Charmaine Chapman, Cheryl Chapman; special uncles, Joe Corley and Yul Chapman; one niece, one nephew, and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
