October 5, 1973 ~ February 2, 2020 (age 46) 46 Years Old

Calvin White Obituary

Calvin “Bird” White was born to Geneva White and Hosie Taylor in St. Louis, Missouri, on October 5, 1973. He was the oldest of three children. Calvin was preceded in death by his daughter, Chanice White; his sister, Marsha Taylor; grandparents, Hosie Taylor, Percy White, and Nelly Mae; and his mother-in-law, Gail Ann Davis.

Calvin was educated in the Ritenour School District. He confessed his life to Christ at an early age and attended church regularly with his mother.

Calvin had a long history working in the industrial warehouse field.

Calvin loved his family. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. His most precious and memorable moments were spent with them. Calvin met and married his wife to be in 1991. However, they did not jump the broom until April 25, 2003, the longest engagement ever.

Calvin will be remembered for his fun and loving spirit. He was absolutely the life of the party. He always wanted to have a good time, just like his oldest daughter – his twin – Chanice. They have been reunited. Most important, he spent as much time as possible with his family.

Calvin departed this life on Sunday, February 2, 2020, at home, surrounded by his family.

Calvin leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife – Batrice; two sons – Torey (Donielle) Jackson and Calvin White, Jr.; three daughters – Calvonne White, Calesea White, and Kayla Williams; his mother – Geneva White; his father – Hosie Taylor, II; father-in-law – Benard Robinson; grandmothers – Bertha May and Joan Quinn; one brother –  Hosie Taylor, III; two brothers-in-law – Clarence Jackson and Corey Davis; four sisters-in-law; two nieces, one nephew; two grandsons – Rodney Gaines and Rayshon Gaines; two granddaughters – Skylar Grant and Karter Williams; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Special memories remain with his two best friends, Johnny Sesson and Ernie Campbell, and his Elmwood Family!

Forever ………in our hearts.
