Benjamin Franklin Ewing, Jr., was born on February 15, 1967, in St. Louis, Missouri. He was the second child to Anita Kay Ewing and Benjamin Franklin Ewing, Sr., who preceded him in death.
Benjamin was educated in the St. Louis Public School system. He worked in the Hotel Industry for 15 years.
Ben attended and was baptized in the name of Jesus at the Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ. Later on, he attended the Faith Miracle Temple. He loved the choir, praise, worship, and enjoyed hearing the musicians play.
Ben departed this life on Sunday, June 21, 2020. He leaves to cherish his memory: his children, Martina (Amadou), Tierra Nurse Major (Tory), and Benjamin; siblings, Anita, James (Erica), Teresa, and Trinnette (Nelson); the mother of his children, Natasha Oliphant; four grandchildren, who meant the world to him, Promise, Torri, Aziz, and Princeton; nieces and nephews, Brandon, Anissa, Bryce, Tanisha, Tyisha Talisha, who also preceded him in death, James, Jr., Amani, Deja (Tyler), and Keenan (Maria); great-nieces and nephews, Elijah, Bryce, Skyy, and Amelia; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and loving friends.
