Ann Marie Thompson

ANN THOMPSON was born on November 13, 1934 to the union of Lucy and Booker Jeffries. She accepted Christ at an early age under the leadership of her brother, Pastor Harold Jeffries.  In  her  early years she attended the St. Louis Public School system.

She married Harry Winn III in 1955 and to this union five children were born: Larry, Harry IV, Francine, Kevin and Charles. Her husband, Harry Winn III, and two sons, Harry IV and Charles, preceded her in death. Ann married Delious Thompson in 1975. He preceded her in death. Ann's siblings: brother, John Henry, sisters, Lucille and Pearl, preceded her in death.

Ann worked for the Lasalle Mexican Restaurants for 45 years. She was a hard worker and was the Head Chef running the day-to-day operations of food management for LaSalle Restaurant.

Ann was an excellent cook and loved to cook for her family and church family. She expressed her love through her food. Ann loved singing in church, and she was a faithful member of Dickerson Memorial Church until her health failed. Ann loved spending time with her family and friends catching up and sharing a great meal.

Ann was loved by many. She leaves to cherish her memories: her sons, Larry (Alicia) and Kevin; and daughter, Francine; her brother, Harold (Sylvia) Lee Jeffries; granddaughters, Shanika (Quincy Jr.), Tanisha, and Shanika (CA); great grandchildren, Shamya, Jaylen, Jayla, Alaizah, Quincy III and Amir; special friends, Loretta Hall and Leandrea Lucas; special niece, Deborah Gibson; meces, nephews, cousins and cherished friends.
