Kirktis Zachary Neal

KIRKTIS ZACHARY NEAL was born November 7, 1961 in Saint Louis, MO to Willie Neal Sr. and Beverly Troupe. Kirktis was preceded in death by his brother, Deacon Willie James Neal III.

Kirktis accepted Christ as his personal Savior at an early age. He was educated in the St. Louis City School system and graduated from Sumner High School in 1979. Kirktis enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1979 stationed at Pearl Harbor, HI. He receiveda certificate of completion from Tarkio College in Office Micro Computing on May 1, 1987. He later obtained HVAC training from the Carrier Independent Study Program. He was employed as an HVAC TECH at the Thomas F. Eagleton Court House, from where he retired due to health issues.

Kirktis married the love of his life Rita on March 14, 1994 and to this union two children were born, Khristina and Zachary.

Kirktis loved to travel and spend time with his family and friends. He also had a great admiration for nice cars. Kirktis loved to watch football games and yelling at the television. He enjoyed barbecuing on his gas grill, especially on the holidays.

Kirktis departed this life at Christian Northeast Hospital surrounded by family on September 30, 2019 at 9:34pm.

He leaves to cherish his memory: devoted wife, Rita Thompson-Neal of St. Louis, MO; mother, Beverly Troupe of St. Louis, MO; father, Willie Neal Sr. (Jeannie) of Southfield, MI; children: son, Denzel Lewis; daughter, Khristina Neal; daughter, Shanise Hill; son, Kirktis Neal II;granddaughter,  Arielle  Neal; one  brother, Kerry E. Neal of Los Angeles, CA; one sister, Winifred  Neal of  St. Louis, MO; one sister-in-law, Linda Balentine-Smith; one brother-in-law, Dwayne Thompson; Godson, Dewayne Williams Jr.; best friend, Dewayne Williams of St. Louis, MO; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, andfriends.
