ANTHONY LETROY COOPER was born February 5, 1976 in St. Louis, Missouri to Octavia Moore-Cooper and Gregory Washington Hart who preceded him in death. He was the youngest of five children, his eldest brother, Adrian L. Cooper, and sister, Aretha Washington, also preceded him in death.
Anthony attended St. Louis Public Schools and he received his high school diploma.
In April of 2006, Anthony met the love of his life, Kelli Wilson. On March 19, 2015, they were married and enjoyed four years of love as husband and wife.
In July of 2018, Anthony gave his life to the Lord, and he received the gift of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues. Later, in March of 2019, he was baptized in the name of Jesus for the remission of his sin.
He enjoyed expounding in the word of God with his wife and with anyone else that would talk about the Lord. Anthony loved God, family and he valued loyalty. He was proud about his love for God and he really loved his wife and made sure everyone knew it. Anthony was a very happy person and he loved to hug people. Anthony enjoyed telling jokes and singing, even though his wife didn't think he was very good at either of them. He had a big personality and was a very dramatic person.
Anthony departed this life on Wednesday,January 22, 2020 and he leaves to cherish his memories: his loving and devoted wife, Kelli Cooper; his two children, Janarrika Jackson and Anthony L. Cooper, Jr.; grandmother, Kate Hart; father and mother-in-law, Cedric and Gail Wilson; three sisters, Sandra Walker, Marquita Cooper and Natasha Cooper, all of St. Louis, Missouri; four brothers-in-law, Robert (Heather) Wilson, Jr., Reginald Wilson, Randy (Sarah) Wilson and Ryan Wilson, all of St. Louis, Missouri; two sisters-in-law, Kandas Mosby, of St. Louis, Missouri and Kenosha (Ralph) Moore, of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends as well as a host of brothers in the struggle.
Anthony also had a special family whom he fondly remembered by nicknames: Sandra Gardner (Aunt San), Janea Gardner (Woo), Ariel Gardner (Ari-ooh, ooh), DeShaun Johnson (Bucket Head), Rosie Johnson (Momma Rosie), Chermeka Greer (Meka-mook), Yvonne Davis (Big Sis), Kyna Rufus (Ms. Dee), Avis Chandler, Michelle Brummer (Momma-Mi Mi), Jasmin Washington (Goddaughter), Michelle Bailey (Minister Bailey) and Gary Hill (Minister Hill).
