ANGELA DENISE SMITH was born on July 8, 1976 to Rachel Travis and Edward Smith (preceded her in death) in St. Louis, MO. She was affectionately known as Angie, born with a beautiful face and soul. She grew up to be an amazing person who never gave up and learned from her life's mistakes. In the end, she became an incredible strong woman.

Angela's employment path:
Angie always pursued a profession in the field of early childhood development. Each day, she provided love and instilled great worth in the precious little ones she cared for. Angela worked for several daycare centers in the St. Louis area.
Angela Denise Smith was a wonderful mother to Emmanual Smith and Serenity Manning. Angie brought her love, her infectious laughter and her smile that would light up a room to all. Her light-hearted spirit left you, without a shadow of a doubt, knowing that she loved you and would give you her all.
Angela researched the meaning of her name (Angel, messenger of God) which compelled her on the journey to knowing God. At the age of 8 years old, she became a devoted follower of Jesus Christ.
Angela Denise Smith became a member of Third Presbyterian Church under the pastorate of Rev. Cedric Portis. She remained a faithful usher and Sunday school teacher until the Lord called her home.
It was the love of the Lord that called Angela Denise Smith to her heavenly home on Wednesday, September 4, 2019. She is now forever with her beloved "Granny", leaving to always love and remember her are her two children, Emmanual Smith and Serenity Manning; her mother, Rachel Travis; brother, Bryant Smith (Kisha); sister, Anna Smith-Butler (Corey); aunts, uncles, kind and thoughtful cousins, nurturing nieces and nephews, and faithful friends (Keisha) and many others.
